Weather

Weather refers to the atmospheric conditions in a specific place at a specific time, encompassing elements such as temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind speed and direction, and atmospheric pressure. It describes the short-term variations in the atmosphere, which can change from minute to minute or hour to hour. Weather is distinct from climate, which refers to the long-term average of these conditions over extended periods, typically 30 years or more. Meteorology is the science dedicated to studying weather patterns, and predicting upcoming weather conditions is a key focus within this field. Common weather phenomena include sunshine, rain, snow, storms, and extreme conditions like hurricanes or tornadoes.
